42U server rack enclosure
A powder-coated 42U data-centre rack with EMI gasketing and tool-less panels for a Penang FTZ electronics manufacturer.
The brief
The buyer wanted a rack that matched an imported reference for fit and finish, but sourced locally to cut lead time and freight. Panel gaps and door alignment had to be indistinguishable from the original.
What we built
We reverse-engineered the reference, punched and formed the frames on the turret and brake, and built assembly fixtures so every unit closed to the same gap. A seven-stage pretreatment and textured black powder coat gave the showroom finish.
